Every team member at Jodie Young Colour Bar & Salon respects the privacy that is needed concerning client data and confidentiality. We endeavour to take the correct measures to ensure all clients data is used and stored in the correct way.
At Jodie Young Colour Bar & Salon we only use the data on yourselves to be able provide the most efficient services to you. The information we hold about you DOES NOT get shared or sold to anybody.
You have the right to request a copy of any information we have recorded about you at any time. We will also remove your data that we hold upon your request.
We will clear all data we have on any clients that have not visited us within the last two years.
We hold your data for the following reasons –
We will always ask for your consent when emailing, sending text messaging or making phone calls in relation to marketing. Examples of our marketing activity include, quarterly newsletters, discount vouchers and celebratory greetings, and once again this is a service that you can opt out of.
Your data is stored within the salon software system and or on a record card that only staff have access too.
We take the necessary data compliance checks with our salon debit / credit card terminal providers every year.

- Name, contact no. and email – this information is required to make your booking within the software system that is used within both salons.
- Colour formula codes – we make a record of your technical service history to ensure that we can re-create the same colours and another stylist formulate the same mixture.
- Allergy alert test – we require an allergy alert test on any new client having a colour service or an existing client changing colour technologies and also request a signature.
- Medical history – on some services we may need to know about medical history, such as pregnancy, medication or an injury that may impact our service.
